This unit is responsible for technical assistance and support to the state’s high priority schools. These schools are identified for Improvement and subject to the consequences outlined in the No Child Left Behind Legislation. The unit is also responsible for approval of applications, program reviews and compliance with the requirements of this legislation.
I began work in the Department of Education
as a consultant with the Migrant Education Office. When that office was merged into the Office
of Field Services, I became a manager.
