During this session the Fellows participating on the Public vs. Private Leadership Learning Team are responsible for planning this seminar.

Public vs. Private Leadership Learning Team Members

  1. Participants will understand the definition and characteristics of public, private non-profit, and private for-profit sectors.
  2. Participants will be able to identify strategies for developing leaders within their organization.
  3. Participants will develop a personalized leadership "tool kit" for their use.

  2. How does the culture of your organization impact the leadership style you use? How have you influenced the culture and what benefit has this had on the organization?
  3. What do you do to develop leaders within your organizations?
  4. Identify one challenge you have faced as a leader in your organization and talk to us about what you did to overcome the challenge?
